Description

  • MARILYN MONROE - an original Millionaire Gallery display featuring an exceedingly rare vintage bank check filled out and hand signed entirely in the hand of Marilyn, payable to Saks & Company for $294.98, October 26, 1953. Framed atop a stunning fine art photograph on canvas “Red Lips,” by Milton H. Greene, 1954.
  • FRAMED SIZE: 36 x 37".
  • This display has been archivally designed and preserved using 100% acid-free materials and Tru Vue Optium Museum Acrylic Plexi-glass.

  • Examined and Certified Authentic.

This image, from one of Milton & Marilyn's most recognized collaborations, was taken at Milton's New York City studio. Clothing designer, Ann Klein, sent various outfits for Marilyn to wear, however all the outfits were 2 sizes too small. Consequently, all of the poses in this sitting amusingly deal with Marilyn's problem of holding up the ill-fitting satin dress.
