“Winning isn’t everything, but wanting it is… It’s a funny thing, the more I practice the luckier I get!” – Arnold Palmer.

Legendary gold icon Arnold Palmer passed away at the age of 87 this week.

The son of a greenskeeper, who wasn’t allowed to golf on the course his dad cared for, Palmer will forever be known as The King of Golf. A true champion, Palmer’s lifelong career as golf’s greatest ambassador led to accolades and achievements such as receiving¬†the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal, a 1974 induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame and bragging rights as the first golfer to surpass $1 million in earnings.
